Community
The story began in February 2012, when I invited some friends over for a monthly drum circle. A gathering of people willing to dive in as I guided them through an eclectic mix of music, beats and meditation. The response was amazing and soon our intimate drum circle skyrocketed outside of my living room. We needed a bigger space. The local Nyack gazebo was the perfect fit, but soon the weather and the police became an obstacle. The answer came on one rainy night when the owner of a local restaurant, Casa Del Sol, invited us inside to play. On that evening, Drink & Drum, a modern day drum circle dance party, was born.
